Keep a dry chemical (Class B) fire extinguisher rated for gasoline, chemical and electrical fires in work area. Keep cigarettes, sparks, open flame and other sources of ignition away from vehicle. Do not use fuel injector cleaning solvents when performing diagnostic testing. Engine backfire can occur when the air cleaner is out of position. 
Do not pour gasoline down the throttle body when cranking or running the engine, when working with fuel delivery systems or any open fuel line.
Do not position your head directly in front of or over the throttle body.Even if your everyday glasses have impact resistant lenses, they are NOT safety glasses, and may not provide adequate protection.
